FAQs
How does the open-ear design work on the Shokz OpenFit Beige?
The OpenFit uses a Dolphin Arc ear hook that rests over top of your ear, keeping the speaker situated just outside your ear canal. This allows you to listen to rich audio while leaving your ears completely open to perceive traffic, conversations, and ambient sounds around you.
Will people next to me hear my music or phone calls?
No, the OpenFit utilizes DirectPitch technology, which projects sound waves directly toward your ear canal while generating inverted sound waves to cancel out sound dispersion into the surrounding air, keeping your music and calls private
Can I wear the Shokz OpenFit Beige with glasses or sunglasses?
Yes, the flexible Dolphin Arc hook features an ultra-fine, flexible memory wire core wrapped in soft liquid silicone. It sits flat and lightweight behind the ear, comfortably accommodating glasses, sunglasses, or hats without causing pressure points.
Are the Shokz OpenFit Beige earbuds sweat- and water-resistant?
Yes, the earbuds carry an IP54 rating, protecting them against dust ingress, sweat, and light rain splashes during intense workouts or daily commutes. However, they are not designed for swimming or submersion in water
How do I control volume and music playback on the OpenFit?
The earbuds feature built-in touch controls on each earbud. You can customize double-tap and press-and-hold gestures through the Shokz app to adjust volume, play or pause tracks, skip songs, answer phone calls, or activate your voice assistant.
