FAQs

Do I need to run any new cables to use this kit?

No. The kit uses your existing electrical wiring (powerline) to transmit data—no drilling or new wiring needed.

Can I add more powerline adapters later?

No. This adapter is data / video only – it does not support Power Delivery or carry charging power.

Will my Wi-Fi name and password be the same with the adapter?

Yes. Press the “Wi-Fi Clone” button on the WPA unit to copy your router’s SSID and password to the adapter, making a seamless network

How secure is the connection?

It uses 128-bit AES encryption when you press the “Pair” button on both adapters.

Why is the actual speed lower than 1000 Mbps?

1000 Mbps is the theoretical maximum. Actual speeds depend on your home’s wiring, electrical noise, and how close the powerline adapters are plugged into the same circuit
