Thinner. Lighter. Ultraportable
The Apple iPad mini A20 Pro 8th Generation is the latest compact tablet from Apple, announced in October 2026 and available from early November. It features a larger 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 2316 × 1512 resolution, up to 1200 nits peak brightness, and optional nano-texture glass on higher storage models.
Powered by the Apple A20 Pro chip (with a more powerful 6-core CPU and dual Neural Engine only on the 512GB version), it delivers significantly faster performance and improved on-device AI capabilities compared to the previous generation. The design is thinner at just 5.4mm and lighter, while gaining IP67 water and dust resistance for the first time in the mini lineup. Storage options start at 128GB and go up to 512GB, with support for Apple Pencil Pro, USB-C connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, and optional 5G. Starting at $699, the new iPad mini combines premium display quality, strong performance, and enhanced durability in Apple’s most portable tablet form.
