Available in 42mm and 46mm sizes with aluminum, titanium, or new ceramic cases, it features a bright Always-On Retina display (up to 2000 nits), Ceramic Shield 2 or sapphire crystal protection, 50-meter water resistance, up to 24 hours of battery life (10 hours during outdoor workouts), and faster charging. Starting at $399, it continues core health tools like ECG, Blood Oxygen, sleep tracking, and hypertension notifications while adding Siri AI capabilities.
Key Features
All-New Health Sensing System
Apple Watch Series 12 introduces a redesigned Health Sensing System that delivers the most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable. It takes background heart rate readings every five seconds and measures heart rate variability as often as every five minutes, providing richer data for more precise insights into daily health and recovery.
Readiness Score
A new readiness experience analyzes sleep, activity, training load, and vital signs to generate a simple daily score. This helps users decide whether to push harder, pace themselves, or prioritize recovery, turning complex health data into clear, actionable guidance each morning.
S11 Chip and Audio Intelligence
Powered by the new S11 chip with a dual-core processor and 4-core Neural Engine, the watch unlocks Audio Intelligence features including Live Rewind for recent conversation transcripts, Siri Recap for conversation summaries, Sound Recognition for important ambient alerts, and automatic Shazam music identification, all processed with strong on-device privacy.
