How do I put the earbuds into pairing mode manually?
If Google Fast Pair does not pop up automatically, place both earbuds inside the charging case and leave the lid open. Press and hold the physical button located on the side of the charging case for about two seconds. The white indicator light will start flashing continuously, indicating that the earbuds are discoverable in your phone’s standard Bluetooth settings.
Are these earbuds waterproof or safe for working out?
Yes, they are water and sweat-resistant, but they are not fully waterproof. The Redmi Buds 6 Lite feature a splash-resistant design that easily handles sweat during intense gym sessions or light rain outdoors. However, they lack a high-level IP rating for total submersion, meaning you should never wear them while swimming, showering, or washing them under running water
Why does the app show a battery difference between the left and right earbuds?
This is normal behavior for true wireless earbuds. One earbud naturally acts as the “main receiver” that communicates directly with your phone, which consumes slightly more power. Additionally, using touch controls or taking one earbud out to use in “mono mode” will cause uneven drain. If the difference is greater than 10%, placing both buds back into the case to charge evenly will recalibrate their status inside the app
What should I do if the earbuds stop charging or won’t turn on?
Most charging issues are caused by dirt blocking the tiny golden contact points. Use a dry, lint-free cloth or a cotton swab slightly dampened with rubbing alcohol to clean the charging pins inside the case and on the bottom of the earbud stems. If they still fail to connect, perform a factory reset by placing the buds in the case with the lid open and holding the case button down for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes three times.
