Is the C33 compatible with doors that already have a deadbolt?
The C33 is a lever lock designed to replace standard door knobs or handles. If your door has a separate deadbolt located above the handle, you should ensure there is enough clearance (at least 5.5 inches) between the two holes so the smart lock’s tall exterior housing does not overlap with the deadbolt plate.
Can I use this lock on an outdoor gate or an unsheltered door?
While the lock is IP53 rated for water resistance, it is primarily intended for sheltered entrances. It can handle light rain and dust, but it should not be exposed to direct, heavy downpours or high-pressure water jets for extended periods.
What happens if the internal Wi-Fi goes down?
