The CAT S60 is a rugged smartphone built for extreme conditions—and it was the first ever with a built-in FLIR thermal camera . It features a durable 4.7″ 720p a‑Si AHVA display with Gorilla Glass 4, responsive to wet fingers and gloves, and encased within a reinforced housing designed to handle drops from 1.8 m, full submersion up to 5 m (with seal engaged), plus MIL‑STD‑810G dust and shock protection.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 617 SoC (octa-core Cortex‑A53), 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage with microSD expansion—running Android 6 Marshmallow. The imaging suite includes a 13 MP main camera, dual‑LED flash, and a built‑in Lepton FLIR thermal sensor capable of capturing thermal stills and video, displaying temperature readouts from up to 30 m away. Battery life is solid thanks to its 3,800 mAh cell supporting quick charge, delivering more than a day of mixed use.
